New Records!

We have a few new records for sale in the ole online store! 'People' by The Burning Hell is finally pressed and ready to roll!

But lest you think we're some sort of 'one-trick-piny' Record label, we've also started the Pre-Order for 'Moonwalker' by Tariq! If you don't know Tariq, be prepared to get knowing! You may know him as the guitar player in Vancouver based band Brasstronaut, but he's an amazing singer-songwriter in his own right. This EP is a good way to get to know him!

Holidaymakers

We here at Headless Owl Records are very, very pleased to present to you the first music video from the upcoming Burning Hell album "People", available for Pre-Order NOW from us in the store.

Holidaymakers was shot in Whitehorse, Yukon in mid-February. Which sounds a lot colder than it actually was. A lot of excellent things happen while shooting this thing. I learned that Mathias sleeps like a Nosferatu, I'm officially now terrified of my 6 year old niece, and we all got to throw things at Mathias and Ariel. So all in all a pretty successful day.

The video itself was directed and filmed by Gary Bremner Creative (www.garybremner.com). They've done a lot of our photography work for us as well, and let me tell you: the work they do is always incredible.

Our store got a facelift!

Our online store has a new look! Click on 'Shoppe' up at the top to take a look. Have a gander and let us know what you think. Also, for a limited time, when you pick up a copy of 'Old, New, Borrowed, Blue' from the store, you'll get a free Headless Owl tote bag! You'll be able to tote around so, so many things. Also, just 'cause, to tote is to carry a heavy load. So there you go, knowledge dropped.

Grown Ups

Just so you all are aware, we have a FULL LENGTH Album by The Burning Hell coming out in April, the 16 of April to be precise. We'll have pre-orders available soon, as well as other fun stuff, but to tide you over, how about the first track off the album?
